Project Execution
Atoria under took detailed ground investigations for the proposed Hospital Building on Plot 693, Block 8, Mengo, Kampala, Uganda, with a requirement to work sensitively in an area with existing permanent structures.
The scope included exploratory hole in soil and rock to 20m, in-situ strength testing, high quality sampling, laboratory testing and interpretative reporting.
Site Management was an important aspect of this project
Given that the site already housed permanent structures with daily businesses, the investigation schedule was to be planned with the most minimum distraction to the daily activities.
The existing structures on site were monitored during exploration so as to detect and immediately report on any significant defects resulting from our testing activities.
At Atoria Lab, we are committed to delivering quality, on-time reports and data to help engineers make informed design decisions for a safe, cost-effective project.
